February Julep Box Review

Julep Box I loved the February Julep box because it came with a new product, Freedom Polymer Top Coat.  It’s supposed to stay on your nails like gel polish, but remove like regular polish.  I’m really excited to try it out, but I’ve been too lazy to paint my nails and try any of them except the Oxygen Nail Treatment.  The Oxygen Nail Treatment is supposed to promote strong and healthy nail growth with a subtle pink color.  I don’t know if it did any of those things, but it was fine and I’d use it if I wanted some shine and strength.

I switched to “Bombshell” box this month, because I didn’t like “It Girl” colors – that’s one of the great things about Julep – you get to pick which color combo you get. As far as the colors, I’m so excited to use Ginger, which is Sand holographic.  I don’t love the looks of Laura, Olive khaki creme, so I may give that one away.  The box also came with 2 chocolate hearts and an eyelash curler.  I ate the chocolate for sure, but have no use for the eyelash curler.  Lash curlers don’t do enough for my lashes to make it worth my effort.

February It Girl

  • Ginger, Sand holographic – awesome
  • Laura, Olive khaki creme – just okay – I don’t think I’ll like it on me
  • Oxygen Nail Treatment – nice for “no polish”
  • Freedom Polymer Top Coat – can wait to see if this works!
  • Bonus – lash curler and chocolates

Extra: I ordered a second Freedom Polymer Top Coat at a discount because I was worried that if it was awesome as it’s supposed to be, I’d want more and didn’t know if it would sell out.

If you’re interested in trying Julep Maven, please feel free to use my referral code!  I’m under no obligation to review or purchase these polishes…I just like them.
