Friday Photo Favorites: May 5 – 11, 2014

Jen at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom hosts a Friday Photo Favorites linkup and its a fun way to post a few (or bunch) pictures from the week.

You are correct…it is not Friday.  But I’m still catching up after vacation.  This set of photos is mostly from our trip to Vegas to see my sister, brother-in-law, and sweet baby nephew Max.  We hadn’t met Max and they hadn’t seen Jenson since he was a month old.  It was a great visit…we just hung out and barely left the house.  We were there over Mother’s Day, which happened to be both of our first Mother’s Day – which we celebrated with lunch and massages at the Hard Rock.  Not a bad day…

1. This was a random after-work nap that we all took.
2. He was laying like this when we woke up in the morning – almost completely on his side.  He hasn’t rolled back to front yet, but he gets so close like this when he’s sleeping.
3. Waiting for our flight in the airport Chili’s
4. I told the waitress I wanted a normal size (not big) margarita…and this is what she brought me (not small).  Luckily I nursed Jenson right before!

5. After boarding our flight.
6. He fell asleep during take-off and slept for about an hour or so.
7. Waking up excited to meet Max
8. He started to get fussy, so Lo stood for awhile and let him sit on his own since he was tired of being held.

9. Meeting Max!  He immediately reached for his binkie, since it’s the same type that Jenson uses.
10. Snuggling with Max after we arrived
11. Lo surrounded by their pack of doggies (we missed Boof so much, so it was nice to have dogs around)

13. Gnawing on some banana.  I left the skin on so he could hold it and he did great at separating it from the peel.14. Don’t know what this funny face was about, because he loved the banana
15. I love sleeping baby pics, as you may have learned by now.

19. Once he realized Max was there, he just stared at him.

29. – 32. Finally, after having opposite nap schedules through the day, we got to pose them in the superhero outfits from Aunt Christine.
