October 14 Sunday Social

It’s Sunday Social day where Ashley and Neely post questions each week for people to answer on their blogs and linkup.

Sunday Social

1.  Favorite childhood book:  I’m not sure if there was a book that I asked for over and over.  I know I really liked the Critter books, like “I was So Mad“.

When I was a little older and reading on my own I liked A Light in the Attic. I’ve always loved books so much that it’s hard to pick out specific ones.

2 . Favorite Book lately: 50 Shades of Grey was HOT, but poorly written and it’s probably not something that I’d pick up to read over again.  I LOVED the Hunger Game series, so I’ll go with that.

3.  Book you wish you could live in: Silence of the Lambs – I’m not a psychopath, but I have a longstanding dream that I would have been in the FBI Behavior Analysis Unit/Serial Crimes Unit.  I don’t know how much I’d like crime scenes and I’d probably get scared, but otherwise it would be awesome.

4.  If you could be any character from a book who would it be and why?  Clarice in Silence of the Lambs/Red Dragon/Hannibel.  So you don’t think I’m a psychopath, I guess I’d say Elizabeth Gilbert from Eat, Pray, Love – she just disconnected and freed herself to do what she wanted to do and go where she wanted to go.  I’ve always thought it would be amazing to go somewhere and immerse yourself in the culture.  But I’d miss everyone.

5.  Favorite Book turned Movie?  Black Hawk Down and A Time to Kill.  Both were phenomenal in book and movie format.

6.  Favorite Magazines – Clean Eating, Self, Shape, Fitness, U.S. Weekly, People

    • I’m glad you don’t think I’m a psycho for loving those books! And yes, the Hunger Games books were amazing. The movie was pretty good, but the books were so much better.

  • I love that you would like to be Elizabeth Gilbert. I had forgotten all about that book and how much I liked it. I would LOVE to be brave enough to do what she did. Visiting from Sunday Social! 🙂
