Weekly Workout: June 14 – 20

Friday, June 14

  • Noon: Nothing- I had my ultrasound and then we were hitting the road to visit my family.

Saturday, June 15

  • Nothing: Nothing – just hanging with my family

Sunday, June 16

  • Nothing:  Nothing – more family time

Monday, June 17

  • Noon – 40 Min Treadmill/Elliptical: I was just planning to walk, but walking was giving me round ligament pain, or some sort of abdomen pain, so I ditched that and the elliptical was fine.

Tuesday, June 18

  • Noon – Noon Yoga at Capitol Club:  I hadn’t taken a yoga for almost two weeks and it was so obvious to me that my belly has grown since then.  It was definitely getting in the way and I was more restricted than I have been.  It was sad, but i did what I could.

Wednesday, June 19

  • Noon – 100 Workout:  I repeated the 100 leg workout, but switched a few things up to appease my changing body (and because I probably was supposed to ease back into working out after being restricted: 100 squats, 90 second wall sit (split in two), 80 calf raises, 70 mountain climbers, 60 second plank, 50 single-leg leg deadlifts (25 each leg), 40 plie squats with kettlebell, 30 side squat walk with heavy band around thighs, each direction (don’t know what to call those), 20 wall balls with a medicine ball, and 10 pushups.  I still had lots of time, so I did 20 minutes on the elliptical.  I actually wasn’t dying after the workout or very sore the next day, which was a little disappointing.

Thursday, June 20

  • Noon – Nothing:  Lo and I walked to the bank and then to get fro-yo because I had a coupon that was expiring.
  • 7:30 – GoYoga Prenatal Yoga:  I’m not ready for this yet – I’m capable of so much more and don’t need to make this many adjustments yet.  I’m glad I checked it out (I had a package expiring anyway), but I’d rather modify my regular practice than take a class this easy at this point.

That’s all!  I won’t be doing anything on Friday because we have another Dr. appt. – this one is just regular monthly, but it feels like I’ve been going constantly.
