Sunday Social: Handbags
It’s Sunday Social day where Ashley and Neely post questions each week for people to answer on their blogs and a linkup. This week’s questions are all handbags. I don’t have much to say on this topic, but I’ll go with it anyway. For the longest time I only carried a small wristlet that fit only my cell, wallet, and one lip product, but in the last few years I’ve expanded to carrying a cross-body purse. I could still manage with a wristlet, but it’s easier to keep track of a cross-body.
1. What is your favorite handbag you’ve ever owned?
Um….I don’t have one. I don’t really have a handbag thing. I like a Coach Hobo that I have because I like how it fits on my arm (my sister bought it for me). I normally wear one of a few cross-body purses, non of which I love, but they’re just easier. I normally carry the coach one in the spring/early summer, because it just feels like fits that time of year. This image isn’t mine, but it’s similar to the one I have (if not the same).
2. What is your dream handbag you lust over?
I don’t. I mean, there are plenty of great bags that I’d love to carry, but I don’t think too much about them. It would probably be a bigger hobo-like bag, but I don’t have any particular one in mind. Bags are definitely an area in which I fail at being a girl. I don’t even have a favorite designer. I see ones I love, but I wouldn’t spend the money on them – there are just other things I’d rather buy.
3. What are the daily essentials in your purse or work bag?
I’m simple. My wallet (which is a cigarette case), my phone, chapstick, lip color of some sort, shine blotting papers, and a ponytail holder. That’s about it for my purse. My work bag has a bunch of things that live in the bottom (that probably don’t belong there anymore), but it also usually has my workout clothes, lunch, a magazine. Everything else that I need for work lives in my office.
4. What’s in your purse (with pictures)?
Right now, my purse contains all of the essentials I listed above, along with a card pouch with gift cards in it, some receipts, loose change, a little pack of gum, a small mirror, and that’s probably about it. If I get around to it tomorrow, maybe I’ll take a pic, but probably not. It’s really not exciting.
