Friday Photo Dump: Jan 20-26

Jen at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom hosts a Friday Photo Dump linkup and its a fun way to post a few (or bunch) pictures from the week.  I switched my date range to Monday-Sunday because it wasn’t working for me to try to get the pictures up from the night before on Friday.

Jenson spent most of his time this week eating and sleeping.  He hit a serious growth spurt and grew out of some of his jammies within 2 days.  He wore them, I washed them, and then they were too short 2 days later.  He took longer naps and went to sleep super-easy, but woke more during the night (to eat), which he hadn’t been doing.  He’s super screechy and so expressive when he is awake though.

We took his to get his pictures taken at Target and they turned out so well!  We thought we’d just get one or two poses that we’d like, but we liked so many that we just decided to get the cd instead.  It’s too much pressure to try to choose there!  It should be in next week.

January 20, 2014 – January 26, 2014

1.  Love sleeping baby pics.  He makes so many faces when he’s sleeping.2.  Those lips.

3.  Loves looking in the mirror
4.  He’s less mad about being on his stomach, even though he doesn’t roll over much still.  He just boosts himself up and tolerates it, or lays his head down if he’s done (and eventually starts fussing).

5.  The best thing about the weekends is waking up to how smiley he is.  He isn’t usually up for the day before we leave for work, so I nurse him and Lo burps and puts him back down, but we don’t get to interact or see these happy smiles.
6.  He’s starting to fill out!  (slowly…this outfit is still a 3 month)

7.  This picture had the potential to be a loving mom/son photo….  And then he spit up just as soon as Lo snapped the picture, lol.
8.  This one is better.  We went to Ale, Wine, and Spirits so Lo could do an IPA tasting.  He behaved so well.

9.  Hanging on the boppy
10.  Practicing his rolling skills (though he didn’t actually make it this time.

11.  Lo had a bunch of shirts to get rid of, so instead of dropping them off somewhere, I decided to post them on a local buy-sell FB group.  They were mostly dress shirts in good shape, but I priced them at $1 or $2 each.  All of the decent ones were claimed within a day – people were all over them…I was surprised.  I think I made $20 off of them, which is great because I’m always buying stuff off of those groups!  Anyway, Jenson helped me sort and photograph the pics.
12.  We had the pleasure of watching Braxton on Saturday.  It went much better than when he was 8 months old and cried the whole time.  He’s still not very comfortable with Lo, but they are working on it.

19. and 20.  Our baby boy is 16 weeks old!  How did that happen?! It’s so much fun watching him grow and change, but I want things to slow down!

21.  Believe or not, I actually cooked!  I made Potatoes Anna with ham (though Lo sliced the potatoes with the madolin).  It didn’t turn out of the pan as well as it should have, but it was excellent.  It would make a great Easter side dish (without including ham).  I’ll (try to) post the recipe soonly.

That’s a wrap!  Here’s to hoping that the weather is less snowy and cold soon!
