New Workout Challenge: Sheena J’s Halloween Challenge

I think I found a new workout challenge.  Instead of weekly like my 100 challenge, this one is daily from Sunday, October 7 – Wednesday, October 31 – so 25 days.

I made up the name for the challenge, but I found it on a local personal trainer/crossfit instructor’s Facebook page (thanks Sheena!).

She posts workout ideas and motivational things and I love that when she posted this challenge she said this:

“Ok. Here is the challenge. Just do it… don’t be a bitch! You don’t need any equipment. It will start on Sunday(funday) 7th and will end on Halloween Wednesday 31st.”

The Challenge:
5 Squats
4 Lunges
3 Push-ups
2 Sit-ups
1 Burpee

Every day you will add the amount of each. So, on Sunday (day 1), you will do 5,4,3,2,1. Monday (day 2), you will do 10,8,6,4,2. Tuesday (day 3), 15,12,9,6,

By Halloween, you should be at 125 squats, 100 lunges, 75 push-ups, 50 sit-ups and 25 burpees!
I’m actually going to swap two of the exercises because I know that I shouldn’t be doing 75 pushups by the end with my never-feels-like-it-will-completely-heal-previously-torn-elbow tendon.  So I’m swapping the situps and pushups, so mine will look like this to start:

5 Squats
4 Lunges
3 Sit-ups
2 Push-ups
1 Burpee
So here’s an ugly picture that I made that I messed up and didn’t have time to fix because it was time for bed.  I’ll do a new one for Workout Wednesday next week.  I am a bad draw-er with a mouse.

In other news:  The Buckeyes take on Nebraska tonight!  We’ll be tailgating at the RV trying to stay warm.  GO Bucks!
