Sunday Social: Wishes and Entertainment

It’s Sunday Social day where Ashley and Neely post questions each week for people to answer on their blogs and a linkup.  This week’s questions are all a random mishmash about wishes and entertainment.

1. What is currently on your wish list?  For Jenson to sleep at night regularly, a good food processor, a comfy, slightly oversized Steelers sweatshirt.  I don’t have a lot of needs/wants at this point.

2. Share a new iPhone, droid, iPad app that you have recently discovered that we all need.  I’m not a big app freak.  I’ve started using 23 snaps a bit for sharing pics/journaling about Jenson, though I haven’t actually invited anyone to view it yet.  I wanted to catch up on his first 3 weeks first, but it’s hard to do!

3. What is a new fall tv show that you have added to your dvr?  We cancelled our cable and are using netflix and hulu, so we don’t DVR anything now.  We’ve watched Brooklyn 99 a few times and it’s funny.  We don’t watch a lot of new shows because we don’t want to invest in things that may get cancelled.  We prefer to watch whole seasons at a time once we decide to watch a show.

4. Share your social media links so we can follow you. (Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, etc) Tell us which is your favorite and why.

I have an instagram, but never use it.  I started using it before it was very popular and just saw it as a time suck.  Now that it’s popular, it’d be even worse.

I think I like Pinterest the best…I like having a place to collect things that I want to make and such.

5. What is a tv show, movie, or song that you could watch or listen to over and over and never get tired of?  I mostly feel that way about songs.  Pretty much most of Damien Rice’s music, a lot of Elton John (earlier days), Beatles (earlier stuff), Billy Joel (pre-80’s), Cranberries “no need to argue” album.  I’ll stop now, but there’s a lot more I could name.  For movies, I could watch Napoleon Dynamite, Teen Wolf, Up Close and Personal, A Time to Kill, The Way We Were, and Pretty Woman, for starters.
